People often confuse a marketing plan and a business plan. Thinking if they have the former that they do not need to invest in a clear business plan.
It’s pretty simple: a MARKETING plan identifies the key channels through which the business’s offering should be sold.
A BUSINESS plan consolidates what the business is actually selling, to who and MOST importantly if its a viable business. By that I mean, one that makes money!
So you see, it’s pretty damn important to pin down your business plan. And a marketing plan is by no means the same.
so why'd you need a business plan if
you've got a marketing plan simple
really marketing a selling bit business
plan is where you're working out what
who you're selling it to and most
importantly if you're going to have
anything doing it simple
